A few pictures while I have a few moments...

Out enjoying the spring day in the sun...hopefully everyone is having this kind of day!

Smiles for the camera.

She is getting used to her jailcell and even seems to like it sometimes...

Or at least the way it tastes! :-)

Even in jail she can't stop smiling when the camera comes out.

Another weekend gone...

The weekends seem to fly by even more so now. I can't believe how fast they go, of course Day Light savings time doesn't help any. We went snowboarding this weekend again and it snowed the entire day, dropping at least 6 new inches of snow which made for an AWESOME day.

Here's some of our week....

Austin hanging with Gram at Morgan's tumbling contest. She liked to lean against the net that keeps all the kids safe.

This is an old picture from the Super Bowl that one of my brothers forwarded me. I can't believe how different Austin already looks than this picture.

Here's the Pygmy watching the St. Patty's day parade downtown.

Of yeah and here's her "jail cell". Now that she's crawling and getting into stuff, she has to sit in jail while I work.

Austin Crawling

So I haven't been very good at taking videos of Austin crawling, because quite frankly if she's crawling that means I am chasing her. But luckily my Mom and Dane were able to capture her on "film".

The weekend

We went snowboarding this weekend which means grandma watched Austin. I think Joe appreciates snowboarding even more now that he works so much. It's so nice to go up and forget about everything for a day and just try not to hurt yourself while barreling down the mountain. I'm pretty bruised up, just like I like it, that simply means that I was trying new things. Here's pictures of our little Pygmy in action at Grandma's.

My Pygmy

I guess it should come as no surprise that Austin is a Pygmy. I mean after all I have the world's smallest Akita's and the world's smallest Maine Coon cat. I have always said that I shrink them with love. We apparently I am shrinking Austin too. She is in the bottom 2% for her weight coming in at just 15 pounds. Luckily the doctor isn't worried about her and of course we aren't because is just so darn happy, but it does stink to see her numbers so far down on that oppressive growth chart.

Cheers! Here's to Pygmy's everywhere!

The shop...

I am SOOOO proud of Joe. First off the shop looks great and he has worked so hard on it. Secondly, he has to work it all by himself since the whole partnership thing didn't work out. And last but not least we have hit several speed bumps along the way and he is conituing to work through them and keep a positive attitude. While I kind of feel like I am writing his end of the year reveiw I just can't get over how cool it is for him to own his own place like this. Here are some pictures of the shop and the AMAZING job he has done.

The proud shop owner himself!

Part of the waiting room.

The TV...of course every good shop needs a high def TV.

The massage chair, I haven't sat in it yet but I have heard that it's great.

The reception desk, custom built by Joe...you can see that it's not quite done yet but just about. He is going to faux stucco the rest of the plywood that you can see and stain the concrete counter top.

Snowboarding

We decided to take Sunday off from our very busy lives and hit the slopes. While I am sure that Joe felt it was more of the irresponsible thing to do with so much left to do at the shop. I continue to remind him that life is short and soon we will wake up and it will be April 15th (the last day of the season) and time to break out the shorts and tank tops. I am so glad we did, we all had a blast including little Miss Austin who simply LOVES grandma's house.

This is how clean she was when I dropped her off....

And this is after a teething biscuit. Those things are made out of paste and concrete I swear. But look at that smile, just like me we smile with our whole face! :-D
